Strategy Analyst

If the answer is yes, you might be the new strategy analyst for the Corporate Strategy & Development Department.

As a strategy analyst you will be involved in projects with a team of experienced strategy managers in supporting Egmont’s corporate and divisional management in making strategic decisions. The projects will typically focus on growth opportunities within media and related areas, and typically include market, competitor, company, customer and product analyses.

Your role will be to conduct structured and data driven analyses, develop decision material and be part of various projects, including strategy execution projects at a corporate level and in Egmont’s different divisions.

The Corporate Strategy and Development Department is a minor unit of 8 people with large ambitions involved in a broad range of strategic projects, meaning that your tasks will vary a lot, and there will be ample room for learning and developing with the job.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:
• An interest in and potentially experience from the media industry
• Strong analytical skills and a solid financial understanding
• The ability to break down complex problems
• Experience with business analysis and market research
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral skills in English

Background

You are currently studying an economic or finance degree at CBS.
You have about 2 years left of your studies.

Working hours

The job is 15 - 20 hours per week within normal office hours. We are flexible around your working days and understand the importance of the balance between job and your studies.
