Business Analyst for Nordisk Film Interactive

Nordisk Film Interactive is looking for a Business Analyst for our Sony PlayStation and Activision business.

Nordisk Film is the official distributor of Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe and Activision Blizzard in the Nordic region and the Baltic countries. We are looking for a Business analyst who will play a key role in ensuring that our colleagues are able to substantiate decisions and plans, through data and business insights. You will be part of a dynamic, engaged, and talented team spread across the four Nordic countries and Baltics. The main functional teams you will support are in sales and marketing with a variety of insights required from historical sales patterns to consumer buying behavior and segmentation. On an everyday basis, you will be based at Nordisk Film in Valby and report to our Senior Business Analyst.

About the job

As Business analyst you will support our functional teams with decision making and business planning. You will deliver insights in an understandable format to the key stakeholders. You will support the forecasting, business planning and budgeting processes with appropriate insights on the console, gaming software and digital services businesses.

More specifically our Business Analyst should:

  • Support console, games and services businesses
  • Become Business Insights system champion
  • Mine and retrieve data, deliver insights in clear and understandable format
  • Create and maintain dashboards, charts and KPI analysis
  • Integrate with sales & marketing teams to deliver key insights
  • Use appropriate analysis tools to enhance data
  • Collaborate with external analysis bureaus
  • Support in creating weekly, monthly and spot reporting for internal and external use

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has +2 years of experience from a similar role and naturally skilled in analytical thinking.

Your qualifications are

  • University degree in business, IT or engineering
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to partner with multiple functions in an organization
  • MS Office Suite super user (VBA is a plus)
  • Superior spreadsheet modeling and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize data and grasp the big picture whilst managing details
  • Pragmatic and flexible in mind
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English (proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage)
